Summary
Results of tests of household refrigerators and freezers running on ozone-safe refrigerants as developed in Russia: C1 (R152a + isobutane), CM1 (R28 + R134a + n-butane), and R22 + R142b, which are solvable in mineral oils and don't require radical restructuring of the production process. The advantage of the noncombustible zeotropic mixture CM1 in terms of energy consumption is confirmed.
