Summary

The Guide to the Storage & Handling of Frozen Foods (the ‘Gold Book’) was originally produced in 1994. Since 1994, the Guide to Storage and Handling of Frozen Foods, has facilitated understanding between the industry and the enforcement authorities, and a common approach to the frozen food supply chain. Advances in technology and changes in European legislation over recent years prompted the British Frozen Food Federation to review and update this well-established guide.
