Summary

Since 1994, this guide (commonly known as the Gold Book), has facilitated understanding between the industry and enforcement authorities, and a common approach to the frozen food supply chain. When it was originally introduced, it gave the latest recommended practice for the frozen food supply chain in line with UK and EU legislative changes on quick frozen food.
