Summary
The paper discusses a new blend of R125, R134a and butane that possesses a performance comparable to R22 and a smaller temperature glide than R407C. Called ISCEON 59, the blend can be used with mineral oils or akylbenzol oils. Independent calorimeter tests were done. Details are given on a conversion, the flammability of the blend, a worst-case leak, and the oil-return behaviour compared to R22.
