IT RETAINS SWEETNESS IN SWEET CORN ; DELAYS LOSS OF ASCORBIC ACID IN ASPARAGUS ; PREVENTS INTERNAL BROWNING OF MUSHROOMS ; PREVENTS SCALD OF APPLES ; MAINTAINS FRESHNESS OF SWEET CHERRIES AND BLUEBERRIES.
