Summary
The fluids tested were R114, R227 and the new R600 (n-butane). Earlier measurements with R227 were expanded on. The pressure behaviour and thermal capacity of R600 were very near to those of R114, but COP was lower. Much better properties were obtained with R227, but it leads to much greater pressures and has a much lower critical temperature.
