Summary
The food supply chain in the US is a global enterprise, with raw food, ingredients, and prepared food coming into the US from virtually all corners of the world. The US Food Safety Modernization Act takes that into account by significantly enhancing the Food and Drug Administration's ability to oversee food products coming into America. This article examines the coming regulatory changes.
