Summary
The interpretation of variations obtained in determining the curves of thermal conductivity, specific heats, and enthalpy of water and solutions of methylcellulose has lead researchers to think that the new technique being used, analogous differential colorimetry, is appropriate to the study of the processes of freezing and thawing of these products. It is important to keep in mind vapour formation and air leakage during these processes.
