Summary
A short overview of the working fluids is given for the past, for the present and in particular for the future. Not only the refrigerants to be applied in the future, but also other methods for reducing the total emission of non-CO2 greenhouse gases in the field of refrigeration, heat pumps and air conditioning are discussed.
