Summary

This file contains the regional and national end-of-month stocks of meats, dairy products, poultry, fruits, nuts, and vegetables in public, private and semi-private refrigerated warehouses. Frozen food stocks in refrigerated warehouses on October 31, 2008 were greater than year earlier levels for turkey, chicken, pork, and cheese. Extract from the table of contents: stocks in cold storage: by commodity (fresh apples and pears; nuts; dairy products; potatoes; frozen eggs, poultry, fruit and vegetables, juice concentrate, beef, pork, other meat, canned and total meat; miscellaneous cooler and freezer; total commodities stored; raspberries and strawberries); apples in cold storage: by state and United States.
