Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

AN EMPIRICAL CORRELATION BASED ON EXPERIMENTAL SATURATED LIQUID VISCOSITY DATA IS PRESENTED FOR 10 REFRIGERANTS OF THE METHANE FAMILY, VIZ: R10, R11, R12, R13, R13B1, R20, R21, R22, R23 AND R30, AN AZEOTROPE R500 AND TWO REFRIGERANTS OF THE ETHANE FAMILY VIZ: R114 AND R115. CORRELATIONS ARE GIVEN FOR EACH OF THE REFRIGERANTS MENTIONED ABOVE AND FOR GROUPS OF REFRIGERANTS. IT IS OBSERVED THAT METHANE AND ETHANE DO NOT CORRESPOND WITH THE REFRIGERANTS IN RESPECTIVE FAMILIES.
